A sports bet is simply money placed on an outcome: who wins a PBA game, whether a football match ends in a draw, or how many total points get scored. Reading odds and what 'panalo' actually pays
Most PH sportsbooks show decimal odds. Multiply your stake by the odds to see the total return. At odds of 1.90, a ₱100 bet returns ₱190 if it wins, that is your ₱100 back plus ₱90 profit. Odds of 3.00 on an underdog return ₱300 on the same ₱100 stake. Higher odds mean a bigger prize but a lower chance of landing.
- Shorter odds (1.20–1.50) = strong favourite, small profit, higher hit rate.
- Longer odds (2.50+) = underdog or unlikely result, bigger profit, lower hit rate.
- A single (one selection) is the simplest bet; an accumulator combines several and only pays if every leg wins.
- Compare the line before you bet, a half-point on a handicap or total can flip a winning slip into a losing one.
Start in three careful moves
